After yet another loss in court regarding attempts to limit 3rd party election spending, Doug Ford is urgently recalling the legislature to override the judge’s decision.

The Ontario PC Party will use the notwithstanding clause to force through laws deemed unconstitutional by the Superior Court. The rarely used clause allows the federal, provincial and territorial governments to void parts of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms to pursue their legislative agendas.
